Short description of the HIV population in Luxembourg (1983 to 2005)
Since 1983, the cumulative number of known HIV infections is 715. 540 (75,52%) are men and 175 (24,48%) are women. The number of deaths is 126 (17,62%).
Age distribution:
<15 years: 8 persons
15-24 years: 120 persons
>=25 years: 586 persons
